President and Founding Partner of Grupo ST

Pablo Peralta, president and founding partner of Grupo ST, has over 50 years of experience in the financial and insurance sectors. His leadership has been instrumental in the group’s expansion through the creation of more than 20 companies, strategic acquisitions, and integrations that have strengthened its market presence.

He began his career in 1974 at Banco Río, where he rose to the position of Director. He later served as General Manager of Banco Bansud, then part of Grupo Financiero Banamex, and Vice President of Visa Argentina, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the financial system. Additionally, he founded key companies such as Banelco Argentina and Gire S.A. and participated in various ventures in insurance, technology, real estate, and mass consumption.

In 2002, he founded Banco de Servicios y Transacciones (BST), marking the beginning of Grupo ST. Since then, he has driven its growth through the creation of new companies and the acquisition of strategic operations, always adhering to high regulatory standards. Among his achievements are the transformation of Credilogros into the fintech Directo, the evolution of Quinquela Fondos into MEGAQM, and the acquisition of MetLife Argentina and Prudential Seguros Argentina, positioning Life Seguros as a key player in the sector.

Beyond leading Grupo ST, he has diversified his investments into renewable energy, real estate, and the automotive trade, with projects in Argentina, Uruguay, and the United States. In the energy sector, he was involved in Crown Point Energy Inc. and the RenovAr program, securing a wind farm project. In the agricultural sector, he promoted initiatives in pig genetics and crop production.

His strategic vision has enabled Grupo ST to thrive in a dynamic environment, strengthening its market position and expanding its impact with a focus on innovation and digitalization.
